Introduction
Polysorbate 65, also known as Polyoxyethylene (20) Sorbitan Tristearate, it is a pale yellow to amber oily liquid or paste at room temperature. It is soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate, and acetone, soluble in vegetable oil, and can be dispersed in water. It has emulsifying and stabilizing properties, and is an oil-in-water (O/W) type emulsifier with a Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance (HLB) value of 10.5.
